Tim signed a contract with the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent in 2001 and he was signed to the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad in 2002 as a free agent. Later, in 2003, he was signed by the Washington Redskins where he spent two seasons as a backup quarterback.
In 2005, the “New York Giants” contracted Hasselbeck to be their tie-up for quarterback “Eli Manning”. But two years later, he quit from the Giants.
