Edward Antony Richard Louis, the youngest son of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh was born on 10 March 1964 in Buckingham Palace, London. As of 2018, he is ninth in the line of succession to the British throne. Moreover, Prince Edward has an estimated net worth of $ 45 million as of January 2018.

Prince Early life

Prince Edward is the fourth child of Queen Elizabeth II (Born 21 April 1926) and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh (Born 10 June 1921). At the early age of just seven, Edward was sent to Gibbs School before joining Heather down School.

Upon his arrival to Britain, Edward admitted at Jesus College where he had a major in history. His admission to Cambridge caused some argument at the time since his A-level grades were far below the typical grades required.

The Earl of Wessex has implicated numerous duties from his dad, the Duke of Edinburgh, who has been tumbling some promises due to his old age. Prince Edward thrived Prince Philip as president of the Commonwealth Games Federation and unlocked the 1990 Commonwealth Games in New Zealand and the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Malaysia respectively. In the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme and attending Gold Award ceremonies around the globe he has taken over the duke's part.

In February and March 2012, The Earl and Countess visited the Caribbean for the Diamond Jubilee. The journey involved of Saint Lucia; Barbados, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines; Grenada; Trinidad and Tobago; Montserrat; Saint Kitts and Nevis; Anguilla; Antigua and Barbuda respectively. Highpoints encompassed Independence Day celebrations in Saint Lucia, lecturing Senate and Assembly of Barbados jointly, and a visit to places exaggerated by the volcanic outbursts in Montserrat.

Prince Personal life

Edward was engaged to Sophie Rhys-Jones on 6 January 1999. It was a big surprise for Sophie as Edward proposed her with an Asprey. It is estimated that the engagement ring was worth of $150,000. The ring contained a two-carat oval diamond skirted by two heart-shaped gemstones set in 18-carat white gold.

The couple has two beautiful children named as Lady Louise Windsor (Born 8 November 2003) and James, Viscount Severn (Born 17 December 2007).
