Catherine Bell is a British-Iranian-American who is highly recognized for her roles in television series JAG from 1997 to 2005 Lieutenant Colonel Sarah MacKenzie and also by the series Army Wife from 2007 to 2013 as Denise Sherwood. Along with it, she is also reputed as a producer who has produced plenty of shows in her career.

She was born in London, the United States as Catherine Lisa Bell on 14 August 1968 to parents Scotsman Peter Bell, an architect who signed a contract with the oil company in Iran and Iranian Mina Bell, emigrated to London to study nursing. She was raised by her Iranian mother, grandmother, and grandfather, moving to California's San Fernando Valley because her parent divorced when she was 2 years old. During her childhood, she said that she was a Tomboy. She is of British Nationality but by ethnicity, she belongs to Scottish and Persian. For the degree in research and medicine, she joined the University of California, Los Angles (UCLA) but later she dropped out of the University and joined Beverly Hills to learn acting.  

How did Cathrine Bell start her Career?

As a masseuse, she started working in the USA. Through the sitcom Sugar and Spice, later she debuted on the acting field. In the Dolph Lundgren film Men of War, she appeared in 1994 where the movie was filmed in Thailand. In one episode of the NBC TV series JAG, in 1995, she obtained a three-line role, which centers on the work of the United States Department of the Navy's Judge Advocate General Office. The show was picked by CBS after its cancellation by the NBC, which restructured the series, incorporating a female Marie Corps Lawyer character, Sarah MacKenzie. As Sarah MacKenzie, she appeared on the series JAG in 1996 and she did that series until 2005. Later, beginning in 2007, she has also appeared on the series Army Wife. For the roles on The Good Witch (2008), and it's all sequels including The Good Witch's Garden (2009), The Good Witch's Gift (2010), The Good Witch's Family (2011), The Good Witch's Charm (2012), The Good Witch's Destiny (2013), and The Good Witch's Wonder (2014), she is commonly known in which she has played the role of Cassandra Nightingale. Along with it, she has also appeared on Love Finds Its Way and The Last Man Standing. In the movie Love Finds Its Way which was started in 2016, production began on March 2017 and on July 9, 2017, the date for the film premiered on the Hallmark Channel. She has cast a leading role in the television film 'A Summer To Remember' in 2018.

For her role in The Triangle, in 2006, she was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress on Television.
