Who is Dan Cummins?
Stand-up comedy has long been a key part of Hollywood's entertainment industry, and Dan Cummins is a wonderful addition to the comedians already in existence. He's also the host of the ‘Timesuck Podcast’, apart from his main focus as a stand-up comedian. He got his big break in 2009 after Warner Bros. Records-distributed his debut comedy album (Revenge is near). The album was listed as one of the top 10 comedy CDs in 2009 by ‘Punchline Magazine’. The following year he performed his hour-long special on Comedy Central, ‘Crazy with a Capital F’, on 29 May 2010.

Dan Cummins was born on 17 May 1977 in Idaho, a small town in Riggins. He graduated from high school in 1995 and studied psychology at the University of Gonzaga, Spokane, Washington. He graduated in 1997 and was sent to a local residential treatment center as a child and family counselor. Although he worked only six months there, he described the experience as utterly appalling.

Dan's journey into a comedy career began in 2000 when he performed in the now-defunct open micro show of ‘Laugh’s Comedy Café’ in the Season Ticket Bar near the Spokane Arena. Dam Cummins signed up to the Seattle Comedy Competition the following year and eventually became a runner-up. He met another stand-up comedian, David Crowe, during the competition and they formed a two-man stand-up sketch/musical act, 'COBDOG’, (Crowe On Bass, Dan On Guitar). Together, they were able to have radio air-time to host some of their comic materials, including ‘Bob and Tom Gone Wild' and 'At the Coffee Shop’. They moved their own way in 2003.
As time went by, Dan would later be notified in 2005 by The Late Show talent booker and Comedy Central executives. It was when he appeared in the New Faces showcase at the ‘Just for Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival’. This led him to be booked for a performance that was also his first television performance in Gotham in 2006 on Comedy Central’s Live. Only a month after Comedy Central, his network TV debut was recorded with Craig Ferguson in The Late Show. The HBO Las Vegas Comedy Festival was its second big show in the same year.
In 2009, Dan Cummins reached a milestone in his career when his Comedy Central show was voted as the third best comedy show by fans in the annual Standup Showdown of Comedy Central. He also launched his first hour-long Central Comedy Special in 2009 and held a sold-out show at the Bing Crosby Theater in Spokane, Washington. In September 2014, he performed a tour opener for the recording artist Hughie Stone Fish based in Los Angeles on the Siren Songs tour.
On 5 January 2015, the news arrived that Dan Cummings would be a permanent co-host at the Playboy Morning Show. The first episode of Dan's comedy/historical podcast, "Timesuck," was released on 18 September 2016. Since then, the Podcast episodes have exceeded 100 episodes. Pandora later pointed out Dan Cummins as a comic, which also made him the first comedian on the company's platform to have such a chance.

Dan Cummins used to have a tight family, he's living a married life. Dan was married to Lynze Radzyminski, but in 2009 the pair was divorced. They had two wonderful children, a son, and a daughter, while they were married. Currently, Dan and Lynze share children's custody.
